On a beautiful hill in the middle of the Yishuv, overlooking the coastal cities and the Mediterranean Sea, there is an archaeological site from the Byzantine period. Along the trails on the hill, you will find remains of a monastery with a mosaic floor, an oil press, and a winepress, as well as a memorial garden for Esh Kodesh Gilmore, who grew up in Mevo Modiim and was murdered in a terrorist attack in the year 2000.
