We have all been inspired in our lives by Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach.
But what about future generations? The children in Israeli schools? Our holy soldiers? Jews and non-Jews from around the world who visit Israel?
Fulfilling the dream of a world-class Shlomo Heritage Center is our mission. With a signed agreement between the Meor Modi’in Association and the Israel Land Authority, and with the support of the Hevel Modi’in Regional Council and the Ministry of Tourism, we can make it happen.
“Shlomo Center,” spanning 17 dunams, will include:
- Heritage Center:
- A hall providing an immersive experience of Shlomo’s music and teachings, with a comprehensive audiovisual presentation.
- The Shlomo Library, filled with books and an audio archive, including meditation pods for one or two people with personalized selection of Shlomo’s music and teachings.
- Hospitality Center with 100 rooms: Every week will feature an uplifting “Shlomo Shabbat”!
- Event and concert hall.
- Small open-air amphitheater.
- Institute for Natural Medicine, “The Soul is Yours”: Treatments, workshops, and conferences.
- Gift shop featuring local and community artwork.
The Shlomo Center will provide a space for a wide range of activities and spiritual tourism, serving as a focal point for the global Carlebach community.
We have every reason to believe that this is an economically attractive project, and we aim to successfully negotiate with entrepreneurs in the hospitality and tourism industries for project funding.
