Mevo Modi’im, located in central Israel, was founded in 1976 by followers of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach. The community is known for its warm, communal atmosphere and dedication to Jewish and universal values, music, spirituality, and art, giving it a unique character.
We offer a special tour of Mevo Modi’im, a pastoral area near the Ben Shemen Forest. The tour, lasting between 1.5 to 4 hours, includes a visit to the unique synagogue, meeting community members, and a tour of an archaeological site. The location is suitable for groups of up to 50 people.
Tour options to choose from:
- A tour with a musician playing melodies of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach (of blessed memory) and sharing local stories.
- A tour with recorded melodies and local storytelling.
- A visit led by your own professional tour guide.
- Options are available for longer visits, which may include an artistic workshop, meditation or yoga, or a walk in the forest.
- The visit includes light refreshments, and it is possible to include a full meal.
We would be happy to provide a price quote for a visit tailored for your purposes.
